About Kukuis Corner
In a world that moves too fast, Kukui’s Corner is a gentle pause.
This little brand is inspired by one very fluffy husky-malamute named Kukui, a walking piece of aloha. If you’ve spent time in Waikīkī, you may have seen him: fluffy fur, a curled tail tipped in white, and the biggest smile. Strangers become friends in an instant; locals call out his name, tourists kneel down for photos, and kids can’t help but smile when they meet him.
Our Story
Kukui’s Corner started with a simple wish: to share the joy Kukui brings to everyone he meets. What began as small doodles of his happy face soon became postcards, stickers, and keepsakes that carry a little bit of Hawai‘i’s spirit home with you.
Every item is created in small batches with love and intention, featuring little touches of island life — plumeria blossoms, hibiscus flowers, and sunny days by the sea. Each piece is meant to feel personal, thoughtful, and filled with aloha.
Whether you’re a local who grew up here on the ʻāina or a visitor who came searching for sunshine and found a friend in Kukui, our hope is that Kukui’s Corner gives you something to smile about, and a little aloha to take with you.

What Does Kukui Mean?
In Hawaiian, kukui means “light”; it is also the name of Hawai‘i’s state tree. For generations, the kukui has been a symbol of guidance, protection, and peace; a reminder of how light can carry us through. Kukui the husky-malamute carries that same spirit; his name reflects the joy, warmth, and aloha he shares with everyone he meets.
